(2008-04-01) — Muslim authorities in the Netherlands, outraged at the release on LiveLeak.com of Fitna, a film about the Koran and jihad, today announced the imminent launch of a new Muslim video and audio service which they claim will eventually rival Apple’s iTunes in its reach and influence.
As part of a proactive strategy to provide wholesome entertainment for Muslim families, an edited version of Fitna will be the first video available through the new online media service dubbed, iSlam.
“We have not edited out any of the blood, gore, explosions, beheadings, bodies dragged through streets, execution-style shootings, female genital mutilation, ritual cutting of children and other normal religious scenes,” said one unnamed Dutch Muslim leader. “But we have removed the horrifying cartoon images of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.”

I think they need to create a Disney like attraction where they go into a room with a screen and they feel like it is exploding, with blood flowing out of every crack and then a ride through D.C. with more bombs, car blowing up and everyone bowing to the east–while the whole time the room never goes anywhere
What family fun for Islamics

You hit it out of the park with this one! Hey Scott, did you see Obama speak at Penn State on Sunday? I was there and it was AWE INSPIRING! He already SOUNDS like a president. Not a word wasted. This guy is the REAL DEAL, LUCILLE! The speech is on YouTube in a bunch of pieces if any of you have the patience for that. I stocked up on a bunch of union made buttons from vendors and from the campaign office. I look like a waiter at Applebees with all my “flair”. I’m very excited and I hope it’s not in vain, yet again. I voted for Mondale, Gore and Kerry. My losing streak is bound to break.

A couple of notes here:
1) Re. the main topic of this thread, it hits a little close to home after I read this:
Saudi woman killed for chatting on Facebook.
(For those of you who don’t know, Saudi Arabia is one of the countries I feel a special burden for.)
2) Re. #13: I’m no fan of Obama, but I was particularly put off when I read this:

Scott: I’m sure this comes as a shock in light of my comments in previous threads, but I agree with JCM’s first sentence

Mr. Wheel, the Saudis are our trusted/valued allies. They can do no wrong up to and including 9/11. Get with the plan. They are obviously generous in sharing their oil at a reasonable price. Their human rights record is second to none and they provide much needed stability to the entire ME. If we hadn’t muddled in there the whole “problem” would have been solved by now.

“One News Now†blog has a real winner of an article – a bit long to post here but it’s a real lulu: a small snippet that I feel worthwhile -
“British policy advisor says Gore is in ‘panic’ modeâ€
Gore’s group The Alliance for Climate Protection is currently launching a new $300 million ad campaign that demands reforms in environmental law to help reduce the supposed “climate crisis.” But Monckton points out that in the U.K., Gore is not allowed to speak in public about his “green investment company” because to do so would violate racketeering laws by “peddling a false prospectus.” He says that fact came about after a British high court found Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, riddled with errors.
Monckton challenged Gore to an internationally televised debate on climate change last year.
Fred’s note: I understand from what I’ve read that Algore refused the debate. As of 1998 the earth reversed the “trend” and we are now in a cooling phase. The entire “Manmade” warming hoax is being unraveled and poor Algore’s “green investment company” may well be what will insure him a lengthy stay at a government regulated facility

I just got through sending an e-mail explaining why I think Osama Bamalama is the Manchurian canditate.
My liberal friends hate that I call him that. Hey! I got it from Ted Kennedy! The fat, alcoholic murderer didn’t know Obama’s name a year ago, and now he’s fer him.
Osama Bamalama is more dangerous than FDR, and will trash this country twice as fast and hard.
Hey, vittles! I think that “drawing” elephant was an April Fool’s goof. Remember, this is the day for office pranks.
I have been “punished” with two gorgeous children. Senator Obama’s attempt to clean up his remarks with some rhetoric about “babies having babies” is thin beer. America will discover the truth about the Manchurian candidate; I just hope it won’t be too late.

I don’t play with cell phones, so I don’t understand the technology. I understand I may be reducing the risk of brain cancer by not playing along at home. There was some item on the news today about special phones playing movies. How can you keep the back light or the battery running long enough to watch an hour and forty minutes worth of movie?
I can’t even dial a number on a cell phone without multiple re-tries. Any of you technologically savvy folks want to explain this to an old Luddite hooked on land-lines?

The West’s Cowardice Toward Islam .
According to this interpretation of events, Wilders has only himself to blame for the fact that he has to be under 24-hour police protection and sleep in a different location every night. If he’d taken on, say, the Federation of Dutch Floriculturists, his private life would be fully intact.
Unfortunately, one needs to point out at this juncture that it’s not Wilders’ obsessive arrogance that has robbed him of his private life, but the memory of how and why director Theo van Gogh was murdered … who would presumably still be alive today if he hadn’t been so silly as to make an “anti-Islamic” film.

I find Barack Hussein Obama’s use of “punished with a baby” and “punished with a “Sexually Transmitted Disease”loathsome. So as far as he is concerned there is no difference between a baby and a disease?
If my Dad had ever said anything like that I would have been crushed. And to say it in front of millions of people…… So God punished BO ans Michelle fro their mistake by punishing them with two little diseases.

iSpy with my little eye that the creep posting as Laurence Simon is playing malicious games with his computer.
JCM– or Cougie- as Ms. Lane called him: You will notice that N’Obama spends a lot of time on college campuses to get his message out. Rather cynical of him to thrill those naive kids with his empty promises, isn’t it? BO’s plans include a gutting of our defenses and a most naive cut-and-run policy, besides “negotiating” with people who practice taqiah– you know, the practice of lying to infidels?
These junior citizens don’t currently pay taxes, so they don’t understand that they are mortgaging their futures to the State with his far-reaching social programs to redistribute wealth.
B. Hussein Obama and his sassy wife are promising college money … if young people promise to provide service to the community in exchange. What? They become serfs for the State? You can be sure that he is not offering military service sign up bonuses to these starry-eyed robots.
PA Senator Bob Casey, Jr., (D’uh) came out with an Obama endorsement. This, too, took place where lots of Pittsburgh university/college students gather.
It took two empty suits (and no-show politicians) to dazzle those kids. Casey (Jr.) rarely filled his duties as Loot Guv in PA and yet rode to “victory” because of his daddy’s name recognition and the Philadelphia machine. Ironically, Casey, Jr. is one of the few D’s who supports pro-life values. (I wonder if he is aware of his fellow senator’s attitudes about children as “punishments”.
Little Miss Chelsea is doing her surrogate work for Mama on campuses. That vote surely does rock! Has she told the kiddos about her career in hedge funds?
The Dhimmis think like children and act like children. No wonder that they try to dupe children, for these students are probably very much in thrall to Daddy and Mommy’s funds.
I wonder if ObamaOsama will be encouraging his own “punishments” to go to school in order to serve others. Or will they be so used to the manor-born that they will opt to continue the high life. They had better study hard, though, or Uncle Jacques Kerrie will tell them where they will be stuck.
What a bunch of maroons!

FYI: This quite lengthy video tells you all about what the West needs to know about iSlam. It opens with “diplo-speak” by a few world leaders that completely misses the mark. To set the facts straight, a variety of scholars– and even an ex-jihadist– offer a deeper understanding with plenty of history to support their contentions.
The series of videos is quite long, so set aside some time for the lessons. Bookmark the site and/or pass it along to those who still need convincing.
